Merlin Suite

The Lounge has half timbered walls which are decorated in golds, reds, blues, browns and creams!!! For your enjoyment there is a 32 inch flat screen TV with freeview, DVD ( with good film library ), CD player (with discs) , a DAB radio with iPod docking station and complimentary WiFi iinternet.

Hidden away there is a microwave, a fridge, a toaster, a full set of crockery, cutlery and glassware along with a fine selection of English breakfast teas, coffees and herbal teas. A sumptous Antique Tan leather settee (complete with luxurious sheepskin rug to pamper your feet) and a leather topped yew desk, which can be used as a working area, complete the lounge.

Hairdryers, irons and ironing boards are provided. In the bedroom which is heavily beamed there is a 4 poster double bed draped in red and gold tapestries. Adjacent is an ensuite bathroom with large walk-in shower along with towels, hairdryer and a fine selection of toiletries.

This suite is probably the most zany in existence not only with its colours but also its ivy clad windows!! The TV is on an arm that can swing round from the lounge so it can be enjoyed in the bedroom. Please note that on one side of the bedroom there are very low beams. The suite is fully centrally heated with a portable electric oil heater for added comfort. There is a cooling fan for the summer months. Outside there is a small private seating area near the pond.

We are less than a minute's walk from Alderley Edge where there are a number of patisseries, cafes and coffee shops (including Costa Coffee) which open from 7.30am for breakfast. The Village Cafe is a real favourite with our guests - please see their website www.village-cafe,co.uk They open 7 days a week from 8.00am ( Sundays 8.30 am ).

With the suite providing teas / coffees and milk you are welcome to make your own breakfast. On board is a toaster, microwave, fridge , full crockery, cutlery and glassware.
