A great experience! This ancient cottage oozes with lore and history... great newspaper clippings decorate the spaces which are both cozy and luxurious at the same time. It is located literally 75' from the heart of the best restaurants and shops, yet when you are in the Wizard's Thatch you feel as though you are in a forest 500 years ago. A 5 minute drive will take you to "The Edge" and some of the best hiking trails in the UK. Although it is a "self catering" facility, we were given a Royal Treatment from our awesome host... great stories and insights into the area. We can't say enough -- the highlight of our honeymoon! J. Absolutely stunning little hideaway, something different & perfect for a romantic break ...would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away from it all & relax in the lap of luxury! The little extra touches made the stay, and the four poster was the most comfortable bed we've ever stayed in, definitely worth a visit! A. Ritchie
