The Period lounge with its heavy timbered low beamed ceiling boasts a huge 17th Century fireplace (for decoration only). This enchanting room with opulent red leather upholstery and antique furniture has rich dark Arabian red walls displaying many antique prints, 18th Century original newspapers, old stone flagons and other interesting collectibles.

An offshoot of the lounge away from the thick piled gold carpet is an old flagstone ginnel. This has a dining area which can also be used as a working area with complimentary WiFi internet access. It also houses a large Indian cabinet in which there is a microwave, a fridge, a toaster, a full set of crockery, cutlery and glassware along with a fine selection of English breakfast teas, coffees and herbal teas.

The master bedroom boasts one of the largest beds in the County, a magnificent 7 foot long by 6 foot wide 4 poster bed draped in red and gold tapestries. With over 200 separate parts this 'Kerry' Monster is the creation of a true craftsman.

This spacious room also sports many original newspapers as well as numerous-humorous 19th Century Punch Prints and a show case of football memorabilia. A complimentary bottle of champagne on arrival awaits guests who book the romantic tariff.

With its high apex heavy oak beamed ceiling, and its small paned timber windows, it creates that Tudor atmosphere. Available for your pleasure there is an LCD TV with DVD and freeview and a CD player as well as an iPod docking station. There is a small en-suite shower and wash basin in this bedroom. Across the landing is the bathroom, painted in burnt ginger with an antique floor made from old pews, with luxurious bathrobes, towels, hairdryer and a fine selection of toiletries. Please note this suite contains a fine selection of memorabilia. The suite is fully centrally heated with a portable electric oil heater for added comfort. There is a cooling fan for the summer months. Outside there is a small seating area by the pond.

Breakfast in the Camelot Suite

A continental breakfast can be left in your fridge at a cost of £9 per person. This will consist of chopped fruit, yogurt, ham, cheese, loaf of bread, butter, jams and fresh orange juice. Please inform us if you require this breakfast.

We are less than a minute's walk from the village centre where there are a number of patisseries, cafes and coffee shops (including Costa Coffee) which open from 7.30am for breakfast. The Village Cafe is a real favourite with our guests - please see their website www.village-cafe,co.uk They open 7 days a week from 8.00am ( Sundays 8.30 am ).

With the suite providing teas / coffees and milk you are welcome to make your own breakfast. On board is a toaster, microwave, fridge , full crockery, cutlery and glassware.
